Has anyone else read The Boys graphic novel? It will find some way to offend you. If you're a woman, LGBTQ+, french, in fact any nationality, colour, or any distinction, you'll be offended.
BUT- if you're like me and you like to see the humour in a lot of things (no matter how gruesome they may be!), then you'll love this.
The Boys is about a group of people who take it upon themselves to keep the so called 'Superheros' in line. See, Superhero's may come in a save the day, but in their wake they leave destruction. Ever wonder what happens to Superhero's behind closed doors? What happens if a person with all these powers gets a little too cocky? Enter The Boys.
Billy Butcher: English, leader of The Boys, violent.
Wee Hughie: Scot, newcomer, deductive talent.
Mother's Milk: American, methodical, patient.
The Frenchman: French, eccentric, in love with The Female.
The Female: Asian, selective mutism, rips people's faces off.
This is the most hilarious, violent, imaginative graphic novel I've ever read.
Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson are just amazing.
5* read.
